C11 190 Imperial Train Specification

● Item Introduction
The Imperial Train No.1 formation was used for official travel by the Imperial family across Japan. The five-car formation includes the Imperial Car, featuring a central saloon, chrysanthemum crest, and elegant gold decorations, as well as four attendant cars equipped with waiting rooms, rest areas, and operational facilities. C11 No. 190, built in 1940, was selected to haul the Imperial Train in 1966 as its primary locomotive, featuring distinctive green-accented number plates and rods.
◆ Together, this lineup recreates the prestigious Imperial Train formation of the Showa period.

Hiroshima Electric Railway Type 200 No. 238 was donated in August 1989 from the city of Hannover (then West Germany) to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the sister city partnership with Hiroshima. Now mainly seen as a festive Christmas tram, this compact model captures its unique history and character, now updated with a revised pantograph.

Hitachi Class 802/2 Type TransPennine Express 5-Car Set

● Item Introduction
Following the Class 800 operated by GWR and LNER, we are pleased to announce a new addition to KATO’s British high-speed train line-up: the TransPennine Express Class 802/2-type model!
The Hitachi Class 802 is a further development of the Class 800, featuring increased diesel engine output and enlarged fuel tanks, enabling operation over longer distances on non-electrified lines. The Class 802 units operated by TPE (TransPennine Express), also known as the “Nova 1” fleet, connect major cities such as Liverpool, Manchester, and Edinburgh, and are distinguished by their metallic livery.
Please note: This model uses tooling from the Class 800, so some details may differ from the actual train.
