Dear HO Customers:

Many of you have been waiting patiently for the new Maine Industries Cylindrical Hoppers to become available.  Six weeks ago we learned that the shipment to us was being delayed because the factory had mistakenly "over cooked" the blisters, or clam shells, deforming them.  This mistake meant that the cars would not fit into the packaging and new blisters had to be made. 

The factory informed us this morning that it has successfully remade the clam shells, packaged the cars, and will be shipping them to us today!  The expectation is that the ship will dock on the 23rd of April.  Our  freight forwarder, who coordinates with Canadian customs, usually is able to get the cars to our             warehouse within a week or two after the vessel arrives in port which means we will have them by the end of April or the first part of May.

Update: Production is now complete on our Marine Industries 4550 cu ft 4 Bay Cylindrical Hoppers. We're now just waiting on the packaging and then the cars will be shipped to us.
