Since 2012, TrinityRail has built thousands of 31,000 Gallon Crude Oil Tank Cars to meet the growing needs of the oil industry. Mile-long unit trains with 100+ cars crisscross the United States and Canada daily to deliver crude from the oil fields of North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana to refineries on the East, Gulf and West Coasts. The TrinityRail tank car is easy recognizable by its unique trapezoid-shaped end shields.

This release includes two new schemes with unnumbered cars and a total of 36 different road numbers available.

PLEASE NOTE: There are 24 road numbers of each scheme in the Rivet Counter cars, and an additional 12 road numbers in the Operator cars. The Rivet Counter car is also available in an unnumbered version. This gives a total of 36 different road numbers for each scheme with the ability to add additional road numbers with unnumbered cars. ScaleTrains also offers an upgrade kit for the Operator cars to make their appearance similar to that of the Rivet Counter cars.

The first release of this new model includes undecorated versions of both the Operator & Rivet Counter version of this car. Each is available in four schemes with multiple road numbers available for each. The Rivet Counter version is also available in an unnumbered version to add even more cars to your consist.
