Uncovered lumber loads for 50' flatcars and the longer bulkhead type were produced for customers as they were not available in the hobby industry. Later when Micro Trains and Red Caboose produced the first and second generation center beam cars, we started producing uncovered lumber loads for those models.  The plan was not to have kits.

Built up and READY TO  LOAD was our motto. Our focus was to make an accurate product of a unitized lumber load for a flat car.

As time has progressed, we have added a variety of lumber and wood products to our product mix. Presently, we have related wood products as well as lighting products.

 In all cases, we use REAL wood for our lumber products to provide the best prototypical appearance  possible. 

 Lumber loads by Details-N-Scale fit a large number of lumber railroad cars in the model industry.

 500 Series lumber loads  which is designed for HO Scale 50 ft. flat cars,53 ft. GSC Flat Cars and those of similar design. Time frame for this load would be the 60's into the early 80's. Length of load is 46ft long.

600 Series lumber loads fit the longer bulkhead cars with scale length loads running 54ft to 56 ft. The old MDC's Roundhouse® and Athearn® bulkhead flat cars fit this series loads.

652 Series fit the Walthers® Canadian 50ft. Bulkhead Flat Car with load length of 52 scale feet long.

700 Series fit the McKean Models® 60 ft. Thrall Center beam flat cars and now the Exact Rail® 60 ft. Center beam Flat cars. These loads will be available in similar configurations as our N scale variations.

800 Series lumber loads fit the 72 ft Centerbeam Lumber Cars by Walthers® and the new car issued by Atlas® Railroad Products.

Our Wallboard offerings in HO scale are varied. As you can see from the list, applications for these loads are varied for length and color. The  473 series fit the modern center beam cars. We also have available loads for the Canadian Bulkhead 50 ft loads The loads are described below in bold and indicated on what type of model car they are loaded on. Lastly, these products are not kits and are ready to load onto your empty flat car.

	All loads are prototypically wrapped and stacked according to AAR loading specifications.
