These 40' box cars with sliding Superior doors, short ladders and no roofwalks are painted orange with large black and white logo and black lettering. They were built in June 1957 at the Illinois Central Centralia Shop and serviced in October 1972. They run on Bettendorf trucks. Cars from this 340-car series were ex-Illinois Central 3000 series XM box cars. They were renumbered into road series 416017-416356.
