These period hoppers are just the ticket for moving coal and coke at the Empire Gas Works. Introduced during World War I, many of these 55-ton capacity cars served for decades and our collection features 1940s and 50s paint schemes. Each car also includes McHenry? knuckle couplers, plus turned metal wheelsets, for better appearance and performance.
