– INTX “ex-Producer’s Grain” 2015+ gives modelers a contemporary example of a patched car. Tangent Scale Models chose this ex-Producer’s Grain car that was acquired by Interstate Commodities and is part of the substantial INTX lease fleet. This car is sharp looking, with its faded gray paint, to match the prototype photo, conspicuity stripes and AEI tag bracket. The placard is still attached to the prototype car, so Tangent Scale Models included it on the model as well, in all its faded glory. These models have an accurate 1980 Pullman 4750 body, including “open hole” side posts, thick sill protrusion over the bolsters and distinctive wider jacking tabs. The models also feature Miner “Selflok” outlet gates.
