Item Introduction

The Hoki 2000 is a privately owned hopper car used to transport crushed stone, particularly limestone. Introduced in 2011 and owned by Yabase Kogyo, it plays a key role in industrial freight operations around Nagoya. The limestone journey begins at Otomezaka Station (Seino Railway), passes through Mino Akasaka and the JR Tokaido Main Line, then travels via Kasadera and the Nagoya Rinkai Railway to reach the Nippon Steel factory. By 2023, a total of 54 cars were in service, with train lengths reaching up to 24 cars.

Compatible locomotives include:EF64 1000 (Model 3024-3) for JR operations and ND552 (Model 10-1824) for Nagoya Rinkai Railway (both locomotives are scheduled for release alongside this product). Recreate the iconic “Aka-Hoki” (Red Hoki) limestone trains of the Nagoya region now!
