● Item Introduction

The Tokyu 5050-4000 Series started operations in May 2024 as part of the 'enjoy WEST' promotion. The train features a full-body wrap with a Shinkansen white base color and two Shinkansen blue lines under the windows. It also enhances the travel experience at Shin-Yokohama Station on the Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line, which opened in 2023, providing a connection to the Tokaido Shinkansen.

◆ Following the and wraps, a new fully wrapped train set for the Tokyu Toyoko Line has been introduced. Enjoy seeing it alongside various other trains it encounters during through service, as well as next to the similarly colored N700 Series Shinkansen.

◆ Product Features

  • Modeled after the 4105 train set with its 2024 wrapping.
  • The connecting surfaces, lower body, rain gutters, doors, and window frames are reproduced in stainless steel.
  • The intermediate cars are equipped with standard KATO close-coupling (with hooks), while the front cars have dummy couplers.
  • The headlights, taillights, and front destination display are illuminated with white LEDs.
  • Equipped with a slotless motor for smooth and quiet running.
  • The front display shows "52K Express Shonandai" and can be replaced with "53K Local Kawagoe City" and "55K Express Shibuya."
  • The side display is printed in solid black. Destination display stickers are included, allowing you to choose your preferred destination.
