The Electric Locomotive EF58 No. 150 has been operated to pull express trains on several main lines since it was manufactured in 1958 by Toshiba. It was in service for over 50 years until 2011 while the electrification of the railways progressed from the Tokaido Main Line to the Sanyo Main Line.
Kato has selected to make the prototype that pulled the express train "Farewell Series 20 Passenger Cars" into a scale model.
● Electric Locomotive EF58 150 Miyahara Depot
Electric Locomotive EF58 150 was manufactured in Toshiba Fuchu Factory and used to pull limited express trains on mainlines at the time of electrification progressing from Tokado to Sanyo mainlines. The locomotive was in service for a long time, having the base in Miyahara depot in Osaka. It was decommisioned in 2011. It is now on display in Kyoto Railroad Musium. Enjoy making an event train before it was put in the musium by combining "10-1893 West Japan locomotive MAITE 49 + Old Coaches" which is planned for the simultaneous release.

EF58 150 is now preserved and exhibited at the Kyoto Railroad Museum. EF58 150 was manufactured in March, 1958 at Toshiba Fuchu Factory and operated to tow limited express trains on mainlines at the time that electrification progressed from Tokaido to Sanyo mainlines. Based at Miyahara train depot, it was in service for a long time. But it was decommisioned in 2011. It is now on exhibit at the Kyoto Railroad Museum. When the locomotive was carried in the museum, the body color was changed from brown to blue.
