A new series of animal figurines (KATO FIGU-ANIMAL) will join the Kato product lineup to bring life to your dioramas. The first product set to be released is a panda family with charming and cute poses unique to their kind.

Ninja-Cat: This figure set was made based on the photographs of cats taken by photographer Hiroyuki Hisakata. These vivid photos capture the moment cats make jumps and kicks like martial arts masters. This set thus offers you dynamic and energetic cats for your dioramas.

● The “Red Foxes” and “Raccoon Dogs” of the “Animals of Japan” series, which is indispensable when creating a Japanese scenery, have been renewed and re-released. They are reproduced in the characteristic poses seen and talked about by people living near them. The “Red Foxes” set includes one fox statue seen often at shrines, while the “Raccoon Dogs” set is sold with a figure of a porcelain raccoon dog statue which you can find standing in front of shops in Japan.

● “Japanese Cats” and “Shiba Dogs” make the third figure set in the “Animals of Japan” series. They are reproduced in their distinctive poses. The “Japanese Cats” set includes a big statue of a "maneki-neko" ("beckoning cat") and the “Shiba Dogs” set is sold with a dog statue often found in shrines.
