- What is DioTown ...

 
[Giotown] is a series name of KATO's N gauge total layout system representing Diorama + Town, and has been well received since its release for its ease of handling and realistic details. It is a new layout series that has been systemized as an item to produce various layouts, including the "Double Track Plate Track Series".

 
The expandable road plate can be connected in the same way as the Unitrack, allowing you to easily reproduce realistic scenes that were difficult to achieve with conventional floor layouts.

 

Features

● By adding a single Geotown plate, it is possible to connect to the station road set and expand the town from the station. A lineup of road plates that are indispensable for urban development.
 
● The plate itself can also be used as a display stand for "Mini Diorama".
 
● The plate adopts a "two-split type" that considers storage efficiency and versatility.
 
● A unique joint method is used to connect the plates. Easily extensible.
 
● The ground and roads are painted and printed.
 
● The basic size of the plate conforms to the Unitrack standard size of 248mm.
In addition, the "extended road in front of the station" adjacent to the "double-track plate track facing platform" is offset by the overhang (28 mm) of the platform.

- Based on the [station front road set], an urban section expansion plan combining single plates [double track plate ground station / double track plate facing platform set: green] and inside the outer circumference endless of the double track plate [station front section: blue], This is a plan with the addition of "City Section: Pink/Orange".  
You can add road plates and enjoy creating a variety of towns.
