The WAM 80000 , a popular 2-axle covered wagon that was active during the JNR era, was introduced in 1960 as a 15-ton 2-axle covered wagon that was adapted to pallet transport as cargo handling became more mechanized. It features a large side door with a structure that allows all sides of the car body to be opened and closed freely. It is a standard freight car boasting 26,605 cars, which is the largest production number in the history of Japanese railways. It is also the format in which Tobi-iro No. 2 paint color was adopted for the first time.

The side door that expresses press molding can be opened and closed even in the product, and it is possible to reproduce the loading and unloading scene at the cargo station. Recommended for those who want to enjoy freight trains of yesteryear with their favorite wagons and traction machines.
