This pair of trucks replicates the 70-ton Barber design produced with roller bearing wheelsets. Specifically the pattern design is from the St. Louis, IL Scullin Steel Co. plant. This variation has the Stucki HS-6 Snubber placed in the central outer position to give extra stability to Hi-cube cars and/or top sway of any cars. This offering comes with STANDARD 0.110" width tread wheelsets, separate brake beams, washes and screws.

The 70t Barber S-2-C HS-6 Snubber with roller bearing wheelsets were a special truck design for cars starting in seventies and eighties and beyond. They were especially purchased for freight cars that Exceeded Plate C.
