Typically, wire and bolt cutters are made of steel, are over-weight, and feel heavy in the hand. Fujiya solved this problem by using aluminum alloy in the handles of these well-designed tools, wrapping them in comfortable, nicely-formed resin hand grips, and topping them with finely-crafted, hardened steel cutting heads. Just shy of 8-1/2" in length, the Fujiya Wire / Bolt Cutter weighs only about 5 ounces, but packs the strength and toughness of much bigger and heavier counterparts.
