Keikyu Corporation No. 230 was operated on the Keikyu mainline till 1972 before it was put in service on Daishi and Airport branch lines toward the end and retired in 1978 after operation on Daishi line. From 1972 to 1980, part of the cars was transferred to Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad Co., Ltd. (dubbed “Kotoden”) with a line connecting to the time-honored Kotohira Shrine in Kagawa, Shikoku, and was renamed No. 30. The train then consisted of 2 cars, an odd-numbered car (driving car) equipped with motor and pantograph and an even-numbered car (pilot car). The train was operated on Nagao and Shido lines.
