During World War II, Union Pacific produced a variety of morale boosting posters that depicted the railroad’s involvement in supporting the war. Our 12-month series will feature twelve of these colorful posters on olive drab troop kitchen cars, an FT-A unit locomotive and caboose. This 50’ troop kitchen car is dark green and runs on Allied Full Cushion trucks. This car’s poster features a brakeman on the side of a car doing his part in the ‘service of supply’.
