Models of the Pennsylvania Railroad P-54 Commuter Cars
The Pennsylvania started building these 54 seat cars about 1908, and kept
building them into the 1930’s
Originally designed to run behind steam engines, they also ran behind
electric and diesel locomotives

The Goodfellow paint scheme started to be phased in during the late
1950’s. Some of the remaining P-54 Steam Era cars re-shopped during
this period got the Goodfellow dark gray paint, along with the Dashing Dan
logo for use on Long Island branch lines that were using diesel power and
non-electrified.
