   This 40' box car with plug door and roofwalk is painted box car red with reefer yellow sides and black kickboard and sill. It is lettered in black and bears the "Early Bird Fast Freight Service" circular emblem. It runs on black Bettendorf trucks. NYRX 2507 was built and owned by Merchants Despatch Transportation Corp. and leased to New York Central. It was serviced in April 1958 when it received the "Early Bird Fast Freight" emblem.
