This 40’ double-sheathed wood reefer is mineral brown with yellow sides and black lettering. This car was built by Haskell & Barker as part of series 14201-15450 in order to replace an aging fleet that was no longer able to meet the high demand of postwar perishable shipments. As the fleet became modernized with these new reefers, standardized loads and icing service requirements streamlined the Santa Fe system-wide.
