Georgia Railroad received this group of hoppers from ACF in February of 1958. GA was a 330 mile line linking Augusta, Atlanta and Macon, Georgia. They controlled the Atlanta & West Point and Western Railway of Alabama (who also received 14-Panel hoppers in the same delivery) which extended their reach to Montgomery and Selma, Alabama. Georgia in turn was controlled jointly by Louisville & Nashville and Atlantic Coast Line.
