Built by Haskell & Barker in 1913, D&RGW 01156 is painted box car red with white lettering. It was serviced in 1934 and runs on Archbar trucks. D&RGW 01156 was part of an order for 50 wood-body cars with steel underframes. These cars were a Rio Grande trademark and were extremely long-lived, lasting into the 1960s.
