This 70’ baggage car is Pullman green with gold lettering and runs on 6-wheel Commonwealth trucks. Built by Pullman in 1917, as part of series 1800-1819, these cars were designed with a wide open interior to carry passenger’s baggage. Sometimes freight companies would also ship less-than-carload shipments along passenger routes using baggage cars.
