This Heavyweight Diner Car is painted PRR Lt. Tuscan Red with Dulux Gold letters. “PENNSYLVANIA” letters are stenciled across the top, centered under the roof. Built at the Altoona shops in 1926, this diner began life as #8000. Frigidaire air conditioning was installed in 1932. In 1946 it was renumbered to #4400 and was whitelined in 1959.
