This 50’ standard box car with double doors are painted brown with white lettering and herald, and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built by Southern Pacific, as part of series 209548-210547, at the Sacramento Shops in 1955 this double door car is one of thousands built during the ‘50s to meet the growing demand for larger doors, permitting the use of fork-lifts and larger loading devices.
