This 40’ standard box car with double doors is painted gray with dark gray bands and white stripes and lettering. Built in 1940 as part of a 30-car fleet, which was used in express service, it ran on Allied Full-Cushion trucks. This express fleet covered in a month as many miles as most cars covered in a year.
