   The National Steel Car Company of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada built this 50' box car with plug and sliding door, and without roofwalk in August 1972. It is painted for the British Columbia Railway in green with white lettering. The eye-catching BCOL dogwood flower logo is orange, white, brown, and green. Number BCOL 5465 has a 5,101 cu ft, 162,000 lb capacity and rolls on Barber roller bearing trucks. The plug and sliding door combination provides a 14' opening. The plug door can be opened for wider access or kept closed for more wall space and structural support.
