Canadian Tire started out as a small chain of local tire stores. It has grown today to over 100 "Mega-Marts" all over Canada and sells not only tires and auto accessories, but also House and Garden supplies, Kitchen and bath Appliances and re-modeling supplies and even had a Sporting Goods department in its stores. It containers can be seen in the USA picking up goods to be taken back to Canada for sales in its stores.
