The (EMC) EMD FT Locos will be packaged as A-B Unit Sets in a presentation box, and will lash together using either couplers or draw bars - depending on the prototype. It is only fitting that Micro-Trains has chosen 'The Loco That Could' as its debut locomotive. The FT, a fabulous success of the day, was purchased by an amazingly large number of railroads, and ultimately saw service in virtually every corner of the Country. The legendary FT Locomotive completely changed the face of modern railroading in North America, with its stunning aerodynamic design and ability to out-haul larger steam locomotives of the day. Each highly detailed model will feature:

• Both A and B Units are powered
• Prototypically accurate, road specific: grab irons, dynamic brake vents, headlights, and B Unit porthole number/detail.
• Crisp, accurate paint schemes
• 5 pole motor with flywheel on proven drive components
• Prototype lengths between truck centers on both A and B
• Installed Micro-Trains Magne-Matic? Couplers
