All truck kits are cast polyurethane resin, requiring assembly and painting.  Kits have hollow cast, one piece bodies.  Interiors are fully detailed, including a driver.  Tires are black rubber.   Also included is a set of etched stainless mirrors, grabs, windshield wipers and turn signals.

1949 saw the introduction of the famous 303 cid short stroke OHV V8 engine in the lighter weight Olds 76 body, creating the 88 model. This was the beginning of the horse power race of the 1950s and 60s. Olds 88s were powerful fast cars and won many NASCAR trophies in the late 40s and early 50s. Our "Woody" wagon represents the early version where the woodgrain was still real wood and a structural part of the body. Part way through the model year GM switched to all steel bodies for their wagons with a decal for the wood trim.
