Beginning May 2013, Micro-Trains will launch its second reefer series; the Brewery Reefer Series! This series will be available in both N & Z scale and will feature prototypically accurate brewery refirgerator car schemes. This 12 month series will consist of 12 colorful and unique, reefers, and will not include a locomotive or caboose.

This 36’ wood sheathed ice reefer with truss rod underframe is painted brown with yellow sides, white and red logo, with black herald and lettering. End lettering is in white. The car was built in January 1911 by General American, repainted in July 1934, and runs on Bettendorf trucks. It was a single car repainted for Manhattan Brewing Company of Chicago, brewers of ‘Old Manhattan” lager
