This reefer was built by American Car & Foundry in January 1923 and serviced in August 1932 and decorated for Prima Co. of Chicago . Due to issues with the ending of prohibition, the billboard design reads “Prima Special” without any mention of the product being transported.

Beginning May 2013, Micro-Trains launced its second reefer series; the Brewery Reefer Series! This series will be available in both N & Z scale and will feature prototypically accurate brewery refrigerator car schemes. This 12 month series will consist of 12 colorful and unique, reefers, and will not include a locomotive or caboose.
