The General Electric P42 locomotive is also known as the ''Genesis'' locomotive. The P42 is a modern 4200 horsepower passenger locomotive used across the United States and Canada.

Painted and decaled for a special anniversary excursion train, Amtrak #100 operated in this special post office livery for a period of 18 months (from 1999 - 2000) to commemorate the US Post office Centennial.

Amtrak Unit #100 is adorned on all four sides with post office related decorations, including stamps from all across the services' history. The Kobo custom model will replicate this engine as it appeared in 2000, specifically, as the locomotive had at least one major change done to its appearance over its 18 month lifespan wearing these colors.
