This 40’ box car with single Youngstown door is painted brown with white post-merger N&W ‘Hamburger Logo’and white lettering. It was built in May 1924, last serviced in August 1965 and runs on Bettendorf trucks. This box car is a member of a group of cars was originally built by the Wabash in 1924 and numbered into the WAB 84000 series. Cars were converted in 1940 and rebuilt using Wabash gondolas. Series was re-numbered adding a ‘3’ to the front of it’s numbers and re-painted into the current post ’64 merger N&W scheme.
