"Executive Line"  ALCo Century C-630

The ALCo Century C-630 Locomotive was one of the last in a long line of locomotives built by the American Locomotive Company. By the time of it's development, the end was near and only 133 were produced. Montreal Locomotive Works built a variant, the C-630M, which did not fare much better. It featured a 3000 horsepower prime mover, but in the end, ALCo fell to GE and EMD. Though few in number, these locomotives served well and would add a unique piece of motive power to any layout that features roads they served.
