This 40’ double-sheathed wood reefer is painted brown with yellow sides. Boote’s Hatcheries #QREX 90534 was built in 1927 by General American as part of the 100 car series, 90500 - 90599. It received its paint scheme in 1934 just before the ruling that outlawed billboard advertising on reefer cars.
