The Prototype

Built by TrinityRail starting in late 2006, the ultra-modern 64' Refrigerated Box Car was designed to replace aging reefer cars. The CEFX cars feature an all-new Thermo-King Reefer Unit and a prototype specific ASD door. The CEFX 64' Modern Reefers are found traveling the country on every major railroad. Increase the 'cool' factor on your railroad with these universal modern  models.

 

The Models

With so many modern Reefers on the rails today, we're commited to  bringing you a number of unique model variations to build your roster. The CEFX  lot of 29 cars feature Thermp King Reefers, plus a unique ASD door. Each model features prototype specific detail and razor sharp lettering.
