These 40’ wood-sheathed reefers with flush doors and vertical brake wheels are a new body style offered by Micro-Trains. They are painted brown with reefer yellow sides and have brown kick panels below the door. The sides are lettered in black with white end lettering. It bears the red, white and blue ART sheild logo; the red, white and blue Wabash "Follow The Flag" logo; and the red and white Missouri Pacific buzz saw logo. It has an unknown built date but was serviced in June 1950 and runs on Bettendorf trucks. The American Refrigerator Transit Company was a St. Louis MO based private refrigerator car line established in 1881 by the Missouri Pacific and Wabash Railroads. It is now a subsidary of the Union Pacific Corporation.
