This two-bay Center Flow covered hopper with round hatches is painted gray with yellow sides and black lettering. It is marked as a Demonstrator car with Sparger Center Flow. The car bears a red ACF logo. It was built in June 1968 and runs on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. In the early 1970s, this car received an interior lining, reducing its capacity from 3200 cubic feet to 2970 cubic feet which changed its AAR designation from L050 to L151. A few of these lined cars in this 10-car series were repainted in this bright paint scheme and used as demonstration cars.
