  This GP35 was built as part of EMD order number 7716 for the B&O which was absorbed by the formation of CSX in 1980. This paint scheme was introduced in 1986 and some locos were seen wearing it well into the 1990s. An EMD GP35 is a 4-axle diesel locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division between July 1963 and January 1966. Power was provided by an EMD 567D3A 16-cylinder engine which generated 2500 horsepower.
