This building was completed by Canadian National Railways in 1926 to replace the previous station which burned to the ground during the winter of 1924-25. Now designated a Heritage Railway Station, it is administered by Parks Canada. On a bright early 1950's morning, 0-8-0 # 7341 switches passenger cars near the station. Vehicles in the picture are a 1946 Ford coupe, a rare 1933 Ford panel and a 1947 Buick.
