Built in 1898 at the junction of the CPR's Shuswap and Okanagan subdivisions, the hotel-station operated into the mid 1950's and was eventually demolished in 1964. On a moonlit late summer evening, Train # 3, bound for Vancouver, eases to a stop along the station platform.
