The MP15AC is a 1500 horsepower “yard goat” built by EMD between 1975 and 1984. Many examples of this locomotive remain in service. Though generally used as a yard switch engine, they can sometimes be seen doing yard to yard car movements and switching cars on smaller secondary and branch lines.
