These PS-2 covered hoppers are painted light gray with black and white herald and black lettering. It was built in April 1956 by Pullman-Standard, serviced in March 1981, and runs on roller bearing trucks. Special interior linings were given for sugar, grain and abrasive service. Around 1981, these hoppers were moved from their original series and placed into Maintenance of Way service for the Boston & Maine and remained in service through 2009.
