This 50’ flat car with fishbelly sides and side mount brakewheel is painted black with white logo and lettering. It was built by American Car & Foundry in 1911 and runs on Arch Bar trucks. Railroads chartered in Texas that ran outside of the state had to have a Texas variation of their railroad; the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railway had the ‘MK&T of Texas’. In the early 1920s, this series was renumbered 113000 to 113120 and given a modern lettering scheme. In addition, cast steel side frames frequently identified as Bettendorf replaced the Arch Bar trucks.
