This 50’ flat car with fishbelly sides and side mount brakewheel with load is painted red with large yellow ‘Delaware & Hudson’ letters and stenciling. Built in July of 1954, it runs on black Roller Bearing trucks. From the ex-RDG series 9300-9356, #16501 received this paint scheme at the Oneonta shop in February of 1977. The 52 car fleet spent their working days in and around Bethlehem, PA with only four cars remaining in the series by July 1994.
