The Lackawanna received deliveries of 30 cars from the Pressed Steel Car company in 1925. From Hoboken, New Jersey they carried storage mail, baggage, parcels, newspaper, and milk canisters and were interchanged with Nickel Plate Road at Buffalo for continual travel to Chicago. By 1954, a number of cars were still wearing green paint even though the new Phoebe Snow stripes were standard. While this car is not the exact prototype, it is a nice match.
