The body of this 40' double-sheathed wood reefer with vertical brake wheel is painted box car red. The sides are orange with curved corner scheme of 1936 with the upper corners in box car red and the lowers in black. The side lettering and door detail is printed black on sides and white on ends. The red, white, and blue Union Pacific logo is printed on one side of the car, and the Southern Pacific logo on the other side. Built in 1918 and rebuilt in 1931, #P.F.E. 14760 was unique as the single road number with the Pacific Fruit Express name painted in this exquisite script lettering.
