M/T 40' Reefer Wood SP/UP PFE 19195 - Released 10/01- (winston) (SKU 1001-47060--2)

The Haskell and Barker Company built this 40' double-sheathed wood reefer in September 1920. It was painted in the Pacific Fruit Express scheme of reefer orange sides and box car red roof and ends. The lettering is black. The car also bears the black and white Southern Pacific circular logo and the red, white and blue Union Pacific logo. The Pacific Fruit Express Company was incorporated on December 7, 1906, as a jointly owned subsidiary of the SP and UP Railroads. Number P.F.E. 19195 has an 80,000 lb capacity and rolls on Bettendorf trucks.
