Some quick notes:
Southern's all steel baggage and express car measured 64'-5-3/4" over buffers with an end sill length of 61'-0" and weighed in at 107,600 lbs. Originally built in 1913 with a clerestory roof. Rebuilt with an arched roof probably in the late 40s. It was sub lettered George Southern & Florida (G.S. & F. ) a subsidiary of Southern Railway. Carried mail, luggage and express. Car No. 6450 exists at the South Carolina Railroad museum.
